ENAIP (ACLI National Agency of Vocational Training), founded in 1951, is a no-profit organization recognized by D.P.R. (Presidential Decree) of 4/5/1961.

Promoted by ACLI (Italian Workers’ Christian Association), it operates institutionally in the field of Vocational Training, offering a variety of services within the different stages of the educational process, publicly funded or privately job-ordered.

Currently Enaip representsone of the most important vocational training organizations present in Italy, for its financed activities, the interventions it carries out, the clients/ users involved, the structures, the human resources and the technical and organizational supplies.

ENAIP is organized as a network association, divided into legally independent regional bodies, coordinated by a national office and operatives in nearly all Italian regions through Educational Services Agencies.

ENAIP VENETO - the Veneto Region’s Agency - is composed of 18 operative units, it works by means of culture and professionalism of the coordinators of the training activities, authors of the training, tutors and project managers, project designers, professors and facilitators for about 350 workers, who correspond with the requirements of the factories, institutions and local organisations, enterprise unions and associations, sector workers and economical fields, private users, both young and adults.

The main activities concern:

• basic, second level and post graduate Vocational Training (EQF level n. 2, 3, 4, 5),
• continuous training and updating, training for trainers,
• re-qualification and re-insertion for the unemployed workers or workers at risk of unemployment, and in general, for socially and professionally weak groups,
• professional orientation for users in transition,
• transnational projects: Youthstart, Adapt, Integra, Now, Horizon, Equal, Leonardo Da Vinci,
• development and cooperation project: initiatives to support the development of the vocational training in Eastern European countries and in no-European countries,
• territorial observatory and analysis of needs,
• network and territory development.

Notably, the Vocational Training activities for the 2009-2010 year are involving the following economic sectors: restaurant industry, commerce, tourism, agriculture, electric and electronic, wellness services, ICT, mechanical and textile sector.
